At least 15 people, including several Indian tourists, have lost their lives after a tourist speedboat capsized off the coast of central Vietnam. The vessel, which was carrying over 30 passengers and crew members, overturned amid rough sea conditions near a popular coastal resort destination, prompting a massive search and rescue operation by local maritime authorities.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon as the speedboat was returning from a popular island excursion. According to local police reports, sudden strong winds and high waves battered the vessel, causing it to take on water and capsize within minutes. Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene, pulling survivors from the water and recovering the bodies of those who drowned.
